I joined Intera in the autumn of 2007, when we started our investment activities. Before joining Intera, I worked as management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group which gave a solid foundation for understanding the problematics of different industries and business models. I hold an M.Sc. in Economics from Helsinki School of Economics and a CEMS MIM from Helsinki School of Economics and Group HEC, Paris.

Over the years at Intera I have worked on a number of different growth and development stories. My private equity career started with Mikeva, a care service provider, which was a success story of organic growth doubling the company’s revenues in four years and making it a truly national outsourcing partner for the public sector. In addition to healthcare, I have worked actively with industrial technology. At Trafotek, a highly specialised power electronics player, we are going through a major internationalisation programme affecting all aspects of the business. The challenges of driving growth in a global niche technology sector are also familiar from Tamtron, a provider of dynamic weighing solutions. Technology and healthcare combine in Merivaara who provides operating theatre solutions and patient beds for hospitals all over the world.
