Evidensia was formed in 2012 and has made a significant number of acquisitions over the past three years. Today, the company is the largest veterinary services provider in Europe. The company has almost 160 animal hospitals and clinics across Nordic countries, the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland with approximately 2,200 employees. Pro-forma sales for 2016 were around SEK 3.2 billion. In spring 2015, Evidensia acquired Animagi, the largest chain of veterinary service clinics in Finland that was formerly owned by Intera.
